Mommy/Daddy & Me

American Sign Language is the first language of the Deaf Community.  It is a complete language all of its own.  It is a visual language that benefits both Deaf and Hearing children.  This class will be an interactive theme-based class that covers topics such as  "Who Am I," "My Favorite Toys," "My Favorite Foods," "Going to School," "Dress Up," "My Favorite Place to Go," etc.  Students will learn signs for use in everyday life, and some simple ASL sentences, questions, and responses.  Parent participation is required. (Ages 5 - 12)
